This session is presented by Dr Olga Kozlowska & Dr Christopher Dodd (OxInAHR Oxford Brookes University) and Sally Willmott (Brightwater Care Group). They will be presenting a systematic review that explores the characteristics of the social care workforce in England and Australia, specifically focused on the care of individuals living with disability. They will reflect on the 25 studies included in the review that speak to how the characteristics of the workforce directly affect outcomes for individuals who require care to live their lives. Key characteristics include clinical skills, psychosocial skills, workforce capacity, sociocultural influence, and workforce levels.
