Caring for veterans with dementia - why we all need a sense or purpose


Vikki Tweedy is a nurse working at an acute hospital in Dorset with people who have dementia.

Vikki was awarded an internship with ARC Wessex - which set her on the path to studying for a PhD - prompted by her work on the wards. In this article she explains how forces veterans with dementia have particular needs.
