About the event

Student nurse placements often focus on healthcare settings at the expense of social care experiences. In response, we have developed an innovative indirect practice supervision/ assessment model, which supports the development of social care-focused practice placements. This model is delivered via self-sustaining funding, ensuring optimum support for students and the practice area, and has gained traction at Higher Education Institutions across the UK.

This #CRED talk showcases qualitative and quantitative outcomes from student focus groups in relation to this innovative model, and demonstrates its contribution to the future social care workforce.
