About this event

NHS teams within Solent NHS Trust and Southern health NHS Foundation Trust are adapting how they work and how they deliver care for people living with frailty. The launch of frailty virtual wards and technology-enabled virtual wards are part of this implementation to support patients by access care through remote monitoring in their own home.

The aim of this collaborative workshop is to gather learning from frailty virtual wards and understand attitudes towards digital innovation.

This interactive workshop will use a rapid insight style approach to understand:

• The benefits and challenges of frailty virtual wards

• What services benefit most from the launch of frailty virtual wards

• Where and how technology-enabled virtual wards are used for people living with frailty.

Participation is invited from those involved in setting up, delivering, and working on frailty virtual wards, this may include:

• Frailty virtual ward delivery teams

• Clinical frailty leads

• Primary care and community teams

• Transformation leads

• Strategic leads

• ICS project and clinical leads

• Regional project and clinical leads

During the session

Rapid Insight (RI) events use an interactive and dynamic approach to gain insights from a wide group of stakeholders in a session (maximum one hour) using the Microsoft Teams platform. They are designed as a fast-paced and engaging way to encourage large amounts of information sharing in a short space of time. We would like everyone to be able to fully contribute during the session so please join us to share your ideas and benefit from collaborative learning. We will also offer alternative methods of contribution should delegates wish to reflect and share further thoughts.

We will ensure that the findings do not contain any references to you or identify who you are. We will use the data captured to report findings to you as part of Wessex AHSN and ARC evaluation NIPP project (NHS Insights Prioritisation Programme (NIPP) | Wessex AHSN) Raw data will not be shared elsewhere.
